This is a one inch Vegetable tanned Hermann Oak leather the belt it is over 1/8" thick and has an antique brass finish roller buckle and is 1 inch wide. The buckle is attached with chicago screws so it can be changed.

The edges were hand rubbed and has a low shine to it. The hide was cut from the back and has some minor marks from when the cow was wearing it because it has not had the top layer sanded completely off so it has a uniform appearance. It has been specially treated as harness leather at Hermann Oak. Made in USA with US hides. It is one solid piece of leather, it has not been glued or sewed. If you are not familiar with name brands of leather you can go on Hermann Oak's website and watch the process and how special this leather is compared to some of the others available.

To order : The best way to get a accurate size is to measure a belt that fits you like the picture in the listing. If you don't have access to that ( a gift or you don't have a belt), please provide me with your waist size, pants size in the comments, this will let me calculate the right size about 90% of the time and everything can be returned or exchanged if it doesn't fit. I will make any size you need here in my shop in Maryland. I will put 5 holes in it unless you request 7 holes.

For leather to be full grain the surface is not sanded off, this leather has not had the surface sanded but it has been buffed to absorb more tallow and oils so you will see all the marks which makes all of them a little different. It will age beautifully and it is stronger because it has not had those fibers removed.
