It seems like a really high quality belt. Not a problem for me but some folks may think 3/16" is just a skosh thick for a belt. I soaked it in neats foot oil and it limbered up a little. I'm a really old guy so I'm positive it will outlast me.

It is made from an 8 or 9 mm piece of solid leather, with burnished edges, which is thick enough to feel sturdy, but thin enough to remain supple and flexible, and wears very comfortably. This is a much Higher quality belt than what you can find in any big-box clothing store for the same money.
