Ships Today Hand made Weaver Select Dark Brown Bridle leather blanket carrier/ blanket harness/bedroll with Jeremiah Watt hardware

This is the shop sample that I used for pictures and to take to shows. It has some minor marks but it fine, the first 2 pictures are of it now. This is Vegetable tanned full grain dark brown bridle leather handcut to 1 inch wide . It has a an stainless steel snaps and custom saddlemaker Jeremiah Watt buckles and conchos. The edges were hand rubbed and has a low shine to it. The straps are meant to hold a blanket, 19 to 29 inches. Slowly veg tanned, stuffed with just the right amount of waxes, greases and tallows and drum dyed for depth of color. Drum dying gives this leather beautiful, deep color. The tanner immerses the leather in dye before tumbling it in a drum to maximize dye penetration. In addition, this leather is veg tanned the old-fashioned way using a tightly-controlled, one to three-month process that utilizes tree bark and other natural tannins for leather that is prized for both its beauty and workability. The top is 15 inches. You can detach the shoulder strap if you want too. All the straps have been cut by hand and hand finished.
